Brake Bleeding - Vacuume Pump DIY

Kind of sucks bleeding the front brake w/o a vacuume pump - Cheap easy way to do it - syringe w vacuume line.

Good idea.
Just wait until "They" come up with something like this for all brake applications.

Got mine @ Tractor Supply Co. - Have a farm so I have stuff like that around for vaccinations - doubt they have a TSC in CA but you should be able to pick one up from a large animal vet or a med supply shop.

XLNT bleed idea. Installed switches yesterday as part of ds kit, and have a few syringes like pictured. Thanks for the time/frustration saver.

Push, don't suck....
Clean idea yeah...... but you're doing it wrong - better is to do it the other way.
Fill a (larger than the one in the pic) syringe with brake fluid, squeeze until the line's full too, then push onto the nipple. Then open up the reservoir's lid and suck out all fluid (with a second syringe, they're dirtcheap in any case), then open the nipple & push the fresh fluid UP. When either the reservoir is full, or the bottom syringe is empty, you're done. However be careful, let a friend check the reservoir whilst you push up the liquid - don't spill any, it takes paint off.
This way there will be ZERO air in, and nice new fresh brake fluid will be everywhere but primarily in the caliper, there where you want it most - with zero air. Works a charm!
