New E start XR650R for me

Names Brian and I'm in Clovis California.

Well I haven't been in the dirt for about 26 years, (I'm 46) grew up racing Moto X, but I haven't been in the dirt since I was about 20, I've only been on street bikes sice that time, but I've wanted to get a dual sport for quite some time, I pretty much decided to get a cheap used DRZ400 to get my feet wet again, but I've always loved the big thumpers, and when I came across a XRR with electric start for the same price as I was going to spend on a DRZ, I had to try it out. I'm sure I'll have alot of questions.

Does the e-start get in the way of your boot or leg? I've looked into them in the past but never picked one up because I wasn't willing to give up the space. I've never ridden an xr with one though so maybe it's not intrusive?
