Larger Fuel tank

Hey guys im chasing a larger Fuel tank for The XR,cos i have been told i wont have the range with the stock tank for the Finke fuel intervals , i wanna try to get 80 Km flat out before refuelling, i Have a Megatanker Acerbis 25 odd litres i think but this is way to big for what i need, I Think there is a 17 litre tank available, do you guys have any Ideas where i could source one from, Cheers Chrimsey

Why not just fill up with as much petrol as you need or are you just unhappy with the physical size of the tank?

If you are dead set on getting a new tank IMS and Clarke make tanks with the fuel capacity your looking for.

I have the Clarke 4.3 gal or 16.3 litter and am happy with it, other than when you get to the bottom of the tank you have to turn your bike on its side to get the fuel from the left side to the right were the petcock is.

Also could always add tank foam to the bigger tank, that way it will not move you around as much will lesser gas in a big tank.

When on your XRR, does it feel like your humping a Roo?

I actually have never humped a Roo, so i cant really answer that mate, sorry

Ha Ha ok then, Who Were ya talking to at the Pub?? i have humped roos on the Bike, But not personally ha ha, Its not pleasant, But im gettin the hang of it now
