Flying Dutchman with a BRP Say Hi
Hello All
Im new on this forum and i got me a brp from the year 2000 about 9 months ago but i did not ride it yet (exept for the test ride
) cause i got no drivers licence yet.
I hope to get the licence this month (if i pass
)
My plan is to make it 75% of the year in supermotard mode en the rest for the enduro rides.

Re: Flying Dutchman with a BRP Say Hi
First off welcome to the forum.
I also have the Excel rims, but my hubs are yellow. Tell you the truth I only used them once so far and it was just to play around my local streets. I'm into the dirt thing more now a days, and the rims/tires came with the bike. I been riding street for a long time.
If you want to get together next spring/summer/fall for some dirt riding, let me know. Hell I can always toss on the supermotard rims too for some street fun...so either way let me know.
Also check out the advrider.com forum under 'Thumpers'...there is a XR650R thread, a few of them. Also if you want Colorado road, or trail reviews check my forum at cowrw.com. It is starting to lean more towards dirt...but I review what I ride. Hope to add video reviews this year.
Otherwise great looking bike you got there, looks clean. Hope to read post from you soon.

What's the riding like off-road?
Is it all forest? Or is there some variety?

where i life theres alot of forrest to ride but its forbidden, some time back they used police choppers & police on offoad motors to nail the illegal crossmachines in the woods
when i did ride there on my cr (not plated) i never stick to one place longer then 5 minutes so they never caught me
on my xr i will do the same
