decompression issues
I need help. I went out to the garage to start my xr after a month or so. Is been pretty cold so I figured I'd start her up for a few minutes. All was fine last time I put her away. When I went to start her, I have weak compression. I can kick thru the entire compression stroke without using the decomp lever. Any Ideas?? I cant figure out what could have changed.

Check your decop assembly and adjust your valves.
Maybe your pistion rings are worn. Squirt some oile into the spark plug hole. Then with the plug out kick it over a few times.
