Help deleting posts

Post  river on Thu Nov 26, 2009 6:46 pm

Hi, first of all, thanks for this fantastic web site/forum. It has already helped me enormously (or should I say the people here have helped).

I posted a couple of posts in a topic/thread started by bump title something like "will honda win baja 1000 this year." I later realized that thread was intended for reporting on the race, and my posts are out of place there. I would like to delete them but the delete button is gone. Reading up, I guess it's because there were later posts in the thread. Any help deleting these posts to preserve the good reporting quality and intent of the thread would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

I was posting them hoping for feedback or others to jump in. You did exactly what I hoped more would do. Thanks! Hence my title of the thread being a question.

So I'll delete them if you want but I'd rather you stay in. I've been trying to get some more guys chiming on this stuff. In this thread or another one I was asking if anyone else saw a difference in the riding styles of Kendall Normand and Robby Bell. Norman seems to ride old school with a lot of sitting. But he's a lot shorter than Bell. Bell rides in the Danny Hamel style of the Attack Position way out over the bars. All the Honda guys used to do that and that is why you see the BRPs from Team Honda with a flat black painted front fender.

That's good to know, I have been watching clips just for that, because my right knee has an injury from 1993 roadbike wreck.
I can not stand in roadbicycle pedals, and was worried standing while riding XRR would agitate it.
I can ride better standing but it hurts, and am surprised I can take pretty big bumps and whoops sitting. BRP just takes it.
Anyway thanks for the posts, very entertaining and educational to me.
What's the flat black paint for, reflectinos of sun?

Indeed, he is.

Never trust mods or admin. They are all evil, corrupt beings.

or is it manly? I try to intercept Dave's porn posts before anyone is offended. asking for it

Focker, the guy who started this forum, asked me to help him out a few weeks ago. He's very particular about the appearance of the site in regards to formatting and all. I really like the general tone of the site and have a strong desire to see it last.
