Source for plastic odometer gear?

Post  RallyMoto on Mon Jul 20, 2009 8:20 pm

I ran across one for really cheap on a site a few weeks back and now can't find it!

Anyone know a good source for just this part?

Seems to only be available as the whole assembly via the dealer, etc.

Thanks

The local Honda dealer's parts microfische lists it separate from the whole assembly -

GEAR, SPEEDOMETER 44806-KF0-000 $24.69

Not sure where else to get this part...... scratch

Yeah, thanks for the reply. I saw it for $6-$7-ish on the site I'm looking for.

Paying that much for a tiny plastic gear is crazy when you can buy the whole assembly for $45.

RM:

Do you want my old ODO? I've got a stocker on my '02 that I don't need anymore.

Perhaps you could cannibalize it.

I would definitely like to have it to cannabilize. I'm headed out of town in the morning for a week on vacation. If you don't mind, I'll send you some shipping funds as soon as I return.

Thanks!
