Help with my 650r

I just did the valves twice to make sure they were right and they are good.
The noise is just alittle too loud for me to feel comfortable with it.

When the bike is running it goes good, but I am also getting some backfiring, or pops from the exhaust. Under hard acceleration it wants to die.
Probably rich. The popping is usually from unburnt gas being burnt in the exhaust somewhere. But too much gas can be a few things including jetting.

I just cleaned the carb, and will now do it with a manuel and new gasket kit.
How did you clean it?

The bike has a completely open intake boot from the carb to cylinder, stock style uni filter, and a white bros e series slip on exhaust, any recommendations for re-jetting?

I appreciate any help you can offer, or maybe recommendations of a good shop near NH that knows what they are doing.

I've never used one, nor do I know anyone that has, but I would hope its comperable to an HRC unit.
