For anyone that Jet Coated their header pipe.

For anyone that Jet Coated their header pipe.

Where did you get your header pipe jet coated?

What did it cost you?

How is the coating holding up?

Would you have it done again on another bike?

Did you have to change the jets on you bike?

Thx,

Bob

While I have yet to do my bike, I've used these guys for a turbo/header and straight header on two different vehicles. I have never had any problems with their product and have heard nothing but good things about them from others as well. My current truck has had their coating for over 4 years and it looks like it was just coated. They do outstanding prep work on the pipe, which is critical for good bonding.

$70 including shipping - might have been s special deal though.

Perfect.

I'll do it on every bike I have from now on.

Nope. But I have the standard team Honda setup so jetting is what they recommend.

What did you end up doing here?

I'd trust any place doing this work that also did, or whose main business, is aerospace. RallyMoto's place in Washington might be doing some aerospace stuff up there so it might be a great place to start.
