Just another day in Hover
Man, the weather was perfect and we had a great ride. Hover is a sweet place......hill climbs, rocks, hard pack, sand...Just about everything. Three of us played around for a few hours today, what a blast!

My Bikes Mini-me. This is our co-workers bike, she can really rip on this CRF150R!

My ugly mug on the left, YamWOW on the right.

YamWOW's bike got tired and decided to stop and take a nap, right at the end of this off camber.

Hmmm, maybe some good hand guards to protect the levers.

Yep, that's the WR250R.
He hasn't cleaned up the rear light setup yet, it will look more like a dirt bike after that.

I almost bought that this summer, heard great things about it but chose the tractor-bility or the BRP instead. Have you rode it? how's the power? I know they rev high but I was worried about the low end torque. And the price was like $5300, too much for a 250 in my eyes. Was worried about the range as well, didn't know how long it would be until a bigger tank would be available.
Re: Just another day in Hover
I haven't spent a lot of time on the WR yet. From what I have ridden it though there are a couple big differences. There is defiantly less HP and you feel it, there is no explosive hit like the BRP. The bike needs to be revved to get the HP. The other thing that hit me right away is the suspension. The suspension is quite a bit softer and spongy'r than the BRP's. Our friend is also waiting for a bigger tank to be available, Safari is going to come out with one but who knows about the price. He got a great deal on the WR, he 'found it on the Craigslist for $4000 and it only had 1000 miles on it.
YamWOW is going to do a few mods to it this winter. He's going to shave the large brake light assy off the back, change over to smaller blinkers, Pro-taper conversion, Skid plate, Lower gearing (Right now you have to use a lot of clutch), and get some real knobbies installed.
Should be ready for the OBDR by spring
