Cheap Frame guards
Since I have not been able to find a set & my frame is getting highly polished/worn. I decided to make a set from thin stainless & JB weld them in place.
While cutting & hammering some shim stock it occured to me that JB weld is some very tough stuff all by it self. I coated the frame with a thin coat in the affected areas & after a 10 hour offroad excursion you can't see any wear on the epoxy. I'm into function more than looks, but it looks better than some of the covers I've seen & the price was right>
