Johnny Rocco's BRP Gallery

Post  Johnny Rocco on Sat Apr 18, 2009 5:28 am

My new to me '03 last October, just after installing the Sahara tank and just prior to Baja. Only 30+ hours when I bought it Smile . It's broken in now....

In the middle of nowhere, Baja. Bad choice of rubber, TKC's do not do (deep) sand well Sad

On the way into Mike's Sky Rancho

nice Nice, I have never ridden an XR with a big after market tank before. Does the fuel slosh around abit putting you off balance when in the tight stuff?

It really isn't an issue, with me at any rate. It does add a weight bias as you can imagine, which results in the front end staying planted. None of the skipping and hopping of the front wheel you'd normally experience under acceleration with the stock tank. It's the way to go for big day rides, especially if you're in the middle of the desert or miles from a Pemex that 'might' have gas. The boys nicknamed her the 'Supertanker'. Smile Hope to make it over your way in the next year or two for a tour.

Enjoying a water crossing this past weekend near Calabogie, On. along the hydro line. The beavers and the rain had done their work. Nice to have the XRR 'altitude' BRP smile

Not sure what you are using to distort these images but it's fortunate IMHO.
