Hey Focker!
This forum is still gaining interesting members but seems to be losing momentum without your flourishes and positive reinforcement.
What's the plan brutha?
Fine to take the discussion offline too.

It's rock'in alright...32 new members since the sale of my ride!

I've been thinking of what to say/post but without an XR I'm stumped. I'm still available for sight help and ideas though! I've seen a lot of your postings and they've been beneficial to the group...Thank You!

A community site cannot hinge around one person - go for its intended purpose.
CC, excellent content and caring members. Posted yesterday a simple question on first oil change but have received no answers yet, start to think whats the point and go elsewhere. A common question in the main catergory of the site unanswered
Check out kxriders for an onto it site !

You posted that after 8:00pm and posted this after 11:00am. Give it some time or maybe those reading it don't know? If I remember your post inquired about a "oil level inspection hole"...I never had one on my XR...Wish it did!
Wish I could be of more help.

my $.02
So I think I understand your observation in general terms.
My suggestion to you is that you consider what you need and look for the best place to get the response you need. If you need immediate help then this forum is probably not efficient. Why? Because of how the site works. You get response from people as they log onto the site and then from that group the ones who are interested in your post.
In your case I think you'd be much better off on the Yahoo group because posts are mailed out daily to all 5000 members. So potentially you've got thousands of eye balls viewing your post. That's really all that site is for and all it is good at. Once you get your responses on Yahoo then you have to think clearly about who is speaking from experience and who is simply better at using Google.
If you search here you'll see that I am pretty consistent about sending technical questions and the like over to yahoo.
Not sure what you mean about the site hinging on one person. But one guy owns Advrider and he's never even ridden a real dirt bike in his life.
