I asked this question on ADV.
More oil capacity would be fantastic, i dont commute on the bike so i dont have to change the oil so often. Despise it!

I don't worry about my oil temp too much being a liquid cooled engine and aluminum frame. The dipstick temp gauge is a nice addition tho. Cool

Impressive. How much extra oil does it hold?
Do you extend your intervals now?

Afternoon all, Just cut the return line and mount it in front of the radiator and put some protection on it and add a bit more oil and thats it. here a link to have a look at http://www.ec21.com/ec-market/oil_cooler.html This is almost the same as mine http://pitbike.en.ec21.com/Taiwan_Oil_Cooler--849012_2663343.html Or even this one http://dannyjames.en.ec21.com/Taiwan_Big_Oil_Cooler--792699_2864918.html

Yes it's off a something road bike it works exellent, it got a temperature control that comes on when sitting still after a while and maintains a even temp. you can even leave it idle for ever and it will not boil.

Afternoon all, the temp control is a appliance over temp self resetting cutout ( 88-90 c ) mounted next to the overflow pipe with some epoxy it's been there for about a year and hasn't moved at all. The only problem is it's a normally closed contact so i had to run a relay to change the switching it works great here is some pic's
