Service Honda, XR650R engine in a CRF450X like your CR500AFX

Thank you again for taking the time for giving me a tour of your shop. I watched the Service Honda used bike section and never saw the CR500AFX with the Motard wheels for sale.

What I would like to know is, have you considered shoehorning a XR650R engine into a CRF450X like your CR500AFX conversion? Is this possible?

Bob it won't fit ,the motor it's too tall.
It's allready in an ally frame.

Yep, the engine is the heavy part, not the frame

The updated suspension would be nice. AJ Waggoner of Service Honda fame, i.e. CR500AF, is going to look into it.

He said it would be an interesting bike.
