Rockin it in Albuquerque

Post  Sandia Stretch on Wed Sep 12, 2012 12:50 am

Haven't ridden a bike in YEARS....so I bought a 650R to get off the porch and go big. Looking forward to getting it tagged next month, a riders safety course under my belt and then onto the adventure rides. Also looking forward to learning from this forum what I can to ride safely and max out the fun meter.

It's a 2000 that has been uncorked and some extra added goodies for the ride. Can't wait to hit the trails here in New Mexico. Rock on!

Nope...bought this from the original owner and good friend from the Midwest. How much where they asking for the bike on the El Paso CL? Always interested in seeing what comparable bikes are going for out there.

Rock on!

Congrats on the new scooter and getting off the porch. Sounds like you've got the right idea too. Have fun on it, have you ridden it much at all yet? Be sure to let us know how your first adventure goes Very Happy

Thanks all! I'll be doing some riding this week out in Rio Rancho NM to get the feel for the bike...hopefully keep it upright and on both wheels the whole time. I have about 20 minutes of scooter time around the fields and am starting slow...as I find it harder to heal the older I get. Very Happy

I would love to make a road trip down south or Up through the Mnts in Santa Fe/Los Alamos in the spring time. Right now just making sre I have the right riding gear and can chew bubble gum and ride at the same time.
Thanks again!

Cheers!
