goofy idle

Hey guys , i have a 2001 BRP that starts fine runs great but after it warms it ends up idling high when i stop and eventually setteles down ..sometimes i have to blip the throttle to get it to settle .

I am open to suggestions from the experts before i rip into it and other than that it runs great
big gun exhaust
airbox modified
previous owner re jetted carb size unknown
i changed throttle cables thinking they were binding as one was kinked

Too little play (too tight) in the throttle cables.
Add a bit & you're done.

I loosened the cables and took off tank to ensure routing was cool
I also did a valve lash check it was a little off I put it all back and adj the pilot screw wow thats what i wanted tons of power good idle now and starts up with half a kick awesome

Ha ha thats funny i have 3 bikes and the pig is the only one that i dont look like a circus act on !
