Stock headlight replacement

Burned out my 2nd headlight bulb, and rather not go back to Honda for another replacement.

I havent even pulled it out of the bike yet, but anyone know if theres a common autostore replacement for it?

Dont want or need anything really high powered, just a stock 35w replacement bulb.

there are no dumb questions.
You want to keep the same light but a working one? Then stock up on globes in a single trip.
If you've got the std stator you don't have power for an H4, but also that may damage the plastic lens.
There's many alternative headlights on the market, you may want to browse a bit. But mind, if you want more watts you'll need a bigger stator.

Thanks, but not looking for a whole new assembly, just the bulb itself.

Thought mebbe there was a common auto store replacement.

I also have a 1982 XL500R that i ride to work.

Just turned 33,000 miles, mostly OFFroad but now just ridden on the street to work.
