UFO OEM Dual Sports Headlight ........ wtf??

I bought one of these. Nice thing, looks decent, and it'll do anything I want from it.
Except..... it comes, as per standard, without the headlight adjustment mechanism - which means the headlight swivels/rattles inside!! Mind, not even the hole for the adjusting screw is drilled! Nice eh? Totally unusable.
I contacted the supplier and they, after some querying, confirmed this is the way they come, sorry!

So I need to get some goodies to allow me to use this thing: a spring, a screw, and a bush with a threaded hole in it. Oh, no, the stuff from the standard unit won't fit, tried that already.

Anyone having had the same problem, and if so, how did you solve it?
Pls let me know, especially when you solved/fixed it with standard parts, as I'd hate to have the bush to be made by a machine shop.
