Not sure on the weight, the fuel in the sahara tanks is held up high which makes it a bit of a pain when full. The tank on the bashplate is a water tank, the other side has a toolbox (bashplate is from (coppied) a ktm rally bike 97/8 640 rallye)The fairing was on the bike when i bought it,it is made by "african queens" and incorperates twin headlights (97/8 ktm rallye) the light/nav tower assembly is welded to the xrs steering stem. The gent i got the bike from set the bike up for the oz safari a few years ago but didnt do it that year (maybe event cancelled?)but did a bit of touring then i bought it,im selling it to my cousin in brisbane after xmas, hes a xr 650 nut and was chasing one set up for distance riding so its his,i havent done as much riding on it as i would of liked, its a great bike.
