Ogio Flight Vest
For a long time now I've used a Camelbak Mule to carry my water and crap on rides. About a month ago a friend suggested trying the Ogio Flight Vest instead. He was even nice enough to sell me the extra one he had!!
I have to say this may be the coolest piece of equipment I have right now, I love it.
It looks like the tactical vests used by SWAT or Navy SEALs which is kind of cool. The thing that has really sold me on it though is how well it distributes the load. When I'd get donwe riding with the Camelbak, my neck muscles were always sore. And if I didn't tighten everything up just right, the straps would pull wrong and put my arms to sleep. No bueno!!
With the Flight Vest I carry all the same stuff but with no sore neck, no sleeping arms and much more comfort. I seriously don't even realize I'm wearing the thing it's sooo comfortable.
This is the only picture I have of me wearing it:

You can get all the details at Ogio's website HERE.

Nice! Never looked at those before. Is it hot? Can you get any more pics?

I don't notice it being any hotter than my Camelbak was. Realistically, it probably is because there are pockets in the front too but I honestly haven't noticed it. I think the trade-off for comfort is totally worth it anyways.
I may have some more pictures at home. I'll check when I get there.

I looked it up on Google. looks great. I think I may try this route instead of getting a new camel pack. I like the extra storage and quick access to my camera ect. I'm always trying to find a handy way to carry my camera where I can get to it quickly. Otherwise I don't get many pics.
Thanks for posting it up!

You got it!
I stick my camera in the upper right pocket and clip the lanyard to the grab handle on the back. That way the zipper is perfect for reaching over with my left hand and whipping the camera out if anyone goes down before they can get back up!!

Have you worn it over a jacket yet? how would it do with a winter jacket under it?

Yeti, I second that! The Ogio is MONEY! I've even worn it over my Aerostich. It is super flexible. One of the coolest things is you can load it up with tools, water, helmet cam rig, etc. and it distributes the weight very well. Here I am wearing it with the girls on a recent trip to the Shamokin strip mines of PA.

Yup, no problems. The size adjustment straps give it a pretty wide fit range.
This may be my favorite piece of personal equipment I own.

I got one as well. It works great. It actually saved a trip I was on two years ago. Late fall trip to San Francisco. Got off the airplane went to Dubbleju to pick up a R1200GS. Got everything packed on the bike, put on my new Olympia one piece suit, went up with the zipper (bike is running, helmet on, etc.) and the friggin zipper busts loose. The main zipper for pete's sake. FUK. I put the Ogio over everything and it held me all together for the next 5 days of barnstorming Yosemite.
When I got back to Dallas, the retailer that sold me the suit gave a new one. It's held up, but I still wear the Ogio.

Looks cool as hell, but "one size fits most" does not apply to me.
