Primer on riding Baja

This might be a good primer on riding Baja. Especially the part about hydrating.

Sweet - I bought my XRR for that kind of adventure.
Thanks for posting - how do I get an invite?

or start helping those guys in their pits or something. Looks like a bit of an industry ride to me.

Here's the best tour operator: http://bajaboundmoto.com/
This guy is supposed to be very good as well: http://www.gobajaridin.com/

I'm trying to scare up about 5-7 guys to book a trip with Tim for a ride all the way to the tip with a few stop overs. I'd like to focus on the exceptional places like Bahia de Los Angeles rather than the punch your ticket places like Coco's and Mike's sky ranch. Maybe do some Scuba in a place or two.

I would like to try an enter in the Baja 250 or Cabo 500.

Ken...

Post  Bump on Mon Nov 30, 2009 12:12 pm

There's a guy named Ken something. It'll come to me later. But he solos all these races. I mean he really solos them. Like he rides his XR650R from SD to the race. Sleeps in the dirt. Races all by himself. Then rides back to SD. I haven't met him. Gene says he's OK.

Ken Weld is his name. He's a welder too. He is on a Jay Leno video online about welding. I think his real last name is Kosiorek. He's a bit unusual from what I can tell. I'm not sure what that means...
