that's what i'm kinda thinkin. too short to route down to the swingarm. It seemed to up under the spine of the frame. is there a piece it plugs onto? or does it simply vent upward?

There is a slot the right angle just slips in so the end is parallel to the frame

Thanks Pikkos. Just to confirm--it remains open-ended and venting to the air, yes? Or is it plugged at the end?

Snorkle?
The carb is about the same level as the air box so it all goes wet near the same time. If you are dragging the vent hoses in water a lot, or if you are having a lot of problems in whoops or when riding at WOT with gas flow inconsistencies, then use what team Honda did and install the PC Racing air box vent. Easy to make also. Just T off on each of the two hoses going over the carb (an earlier factory attempt to fix the problem) and run the new line over to and into the airbox ending in some sort of foam filter. Seal it all up good now, ya hear? I think you gotta be ridng pretty damn fast to need this fix though.
I heard there was a secret works emulsion tube that some bikes had but have yet to see one or get my hands on one. And I've tried believe me!
If you are in a LOT of dust then get one of the carb vent hose filters from Jim Rios at BRP. Neat little device!
