I just got a 01 BRP last week. I have been riding a 07 650L for the last year. My problem is the rear suspension is really soft. It drops a good 3 to 4 inches with me on it and I am only 170 lbs. I am trying to replace my brake pads. I bought some new ones on ebay but they wont fit in the caliper because the caliper piston won't compress far enough for the pads to get in. Has anybody had this problem? Is there some sort of trick to getting the caliper to compress, like draining the brake fluid? I already tried bleeding the fluid and using a clamp to apply more pressure to the piston. It is possible that the pads I bought on ebay are just too thick, ... i own a 2003 650r, just recently had the suspension done as for im a tall bloke and now i want to uncork the bike does anyone have a rough price on the parts required for this , that would be fantastic ,
