So earlier this summer my piggy decided to start bogging after landing small jumps ( I let off the throttle for a flatter trajectory) I have set the float to 17mm, a 68s pilot jet and I forget what main size jet but it runs strong at any elevation I go to around here. from 6500 to 14000ft. Also after accelerating hard in the midrange when I back off the throttle it like the engine cuts completely for a second, its getting really annoying and downright dangerous when going through whoops. ...

I've looked up symptoms to find if my bike is running lean or rich. It runs like a turd and I want to get this sorted out. Some signs point either way. Here's the facts:

-When I whack the throttle at idle it will want to die unless I back off

-Starts great when I give it gas and kick. One kick usually when it's cold.

-Need choke on a cold start even though it's (90+ degrees) hot out (not sure if that's normal). And some other times when the bike's warm.

-Will idle high after it's warm unless ...

Hi! so i'm trying to get my jetting right and have been having some issues..... If anyone out there could lend me some knowledge that would be awesome. The problem i was having was that the bike did not want to idle down using the 68s pilot jet, trying to adjust the idle air/fuel screw only seemed to make the engine run faster as i screwed it in so i moved to the smaller jet. This surprised me as it seems that everyone with this bike runs a 68s once its uncorked. If anything i'd expect to ...

I want to drill out my new Spark arrestor, which I bought from ebay. Can you give me a proposal how to drill out the core.

I don't want, that the exhaust is too loud, because in Germany the police has very good ears

Should I drill out the hole core?

my poor pig came with a Edelbrock pumper carb

it boggs bad when coasting or at steady minimal throttle

stock settings are 18 for the needle and 1,5 for the pump

for whatever reason it came with 12 and 1

at stock settings off idle throttle response is much better and the bogging not as severe

but still far from good
