ADVJake's BRP Gallery
Here it is
my 2004 XR650R i bought with 1500kms on the clock. it had barely seen dirt.

Being an almost bone stock bike, i couldn't resist and in came flowing the mods...
The following :
Red renthal fatbars
SS braided front brake line
Mikuni TM40 pumper carb
2006 CRF450X front end
CRF450X headlight
CR/XR Hybrid rear shock
Full luggage system seperated from the subframe.
Vapour speedo
B&B Rallye bash plate
EGO black barkbusters
Staintune full system exhaust
I'll be adding photos of the completed project within a couple weeks. And with some ride reports over easter as i'm off on a 5 day trip! can't wait.

Here it is in its latest form.
all the boys like it alot

Actually, i was adding brake fluid which is what caused the gathering

The CRF front end feels fantastic in these mountains. Launching off erosion mounds felt lovely.

Remember when one of the magazines did that?
Ogilvie came down on them hard because there was a lot of science and engineering that goes into the metals and all. It's out there on the web. The BRP frame is very rigid and I'd be reticent to 2nd guess the engineers at Honda on that stuff. Just me...
