Pumper carbs

Post  Dave_o on Sun Dec 20, 2009 8:36 pm

Im looking for some feedback from anyone who's swapped their standard carb for something like a TM-40 or Edelbrock.
Ive seen a few floating around second hand at the right price and it got me thinking.
Is this mod only good for bikes that have had top end work performed, cams ect and a full aftermarket exhaust?

I dont have one and I hear they have the bog still. it can be worked out with the right needle it will be a lot of work.

you need the pumper to get to stop the bog I have a fcr40mm and hsr42mm and I like them but it is a pain to set up right
